My Story
Est. 2018
I went to Bar Harbor Maine in 2018 on vacation. Living on a farm, and seeing how a business was run was something that was right in front of me. I always thought I could create my own, and I did.
While I was on that vacation in Maine, I went shopping downtown. I saw these pieces of art in glass frames. They were made out of rocks, and I thought that they were pretty cool. When I turned the price tag around, I found out that they were $70-80 dollars. My little 8 year old mind was blown, I could make those!
Before I left Maine, I brought some rocks home and once I got back to New Hampshire I started getting to work creating my own masterpieces. At first I made them on paper, and then my dad made some rustic wooden frames and I started to make them that way.
A couple months later, I went to a Garlic Festival with my family’s farm. I had made a handful of my rock art and I started to sell them at that festival. I remember it so well, because I was so scared to talk to customers, and I hated the thought of exchanging money and handling it. Eventually I got my first ever customer and I actually took a picture with them. That festival was when people started to love my art, and my business expanded and multiplied right then and there.
I went to my own events, had my own booth, and made a LOT of money that I couldn’t even believe was true. I was using every minute, hour, and second that I could get to make more art, and so was my dad making the frames. I grew more and more every year, and then I got Birdie in 2020.
Birdie is a 1969 Serro Scotty Vintage Camper, and my dad and I renovated her starting the day after I got her. We finished renovating in six months, and she became my mobile shop. I have the whole renovation process on the “Birdie” page.
I love being apart of the small business community, and sharing my artwork with others. It brings me a lot of joy, and I hope it does to you as well.
Enjoy.
